Job summary
ASSA ABLOY is a global leader in door opening solutions, seeking an Architectural Consultant in San Diego, CA. You will advise architects and design teams on door openings, hardware specifications, and BIM-based project support, helping specification and product adoption across projects.
The role requires 2–3 years in architectural representation or related fields, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 80%.
Qualifications
- College/University degree preferred in architectural/design/engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years in architectural representation, specification writing, or design-build construction management.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
- Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
- Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
- Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services.
- Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals for value-added professional services.
