Job summary
ASSA ABLOY is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to work with architectural professionals, advising on design and specification of door openings through Openings Studio BIM software. The role emphasizes building trusted relationships with influencers and managing specification opportunities across a nationwide team.
You will educate, facilitate, and promote ASSA ABLOY solutions, while traveling within the territory and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in architecture, design/engineering, construction, or business.
- 3+ years in architectural representation, specification writing, or design-build/construction management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; experience with Openings Studio or BIM software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with architectural designers and specifiers to drive door hardware specifications.
- Identify opportunities to specify door openings and related products in projects.
- Provide timely product information for project specifications and assist with substitution and approval processes.
- Deliver continuing education programs on new products and services to designers and specifiers.
- Travel within assigned territory and support the sales team in closing opportunities.
