Job summary

Quanex is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in New Haven, Connecticut or Trumann, Arkansas. This role processes architectural products inquiries and orders, provides information to Sales Representatives and Customers, and supports order entry from the in-house team.

You will handle quotations by phone or email, establish pricing, interact with architects and engineers, take and edit orders, and assist as back-up for other sales duties.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior Inside Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers of all kinds.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries for quotations via phone or email, providing detailed technical information.
• Establish pricing and relevant information from manuals or other departments.
• Enter quotation information into the system and provide quotations to customers.
• Interface with architect/engineer specifiers to define project requirements.
• Take and edit orders for architectural products and ensure accuracy.
• Back-up for other Sales Reps and for order entry when required.
