Quanex is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team located in New Haven, Connecticut or Trumann, Arkansas. The role processes inquiries and orders for architectural products, supporting Sales Representatives and customers with technical information and quotations.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior Inside Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical information.
• Energetic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries for quotations via phone or e‑mail with detailed technical information.
• Establish pricing and information from manuals or other departments.
• Enter quotation information into systems and provide quotes to customers.
• Interface with architects/specifiers to define project requirements.
• Take and edit orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Handle order status, changes, and expedites with appropriate research.
• Provide drawings requests for submittal and maintain records.
• Act as back-up for other Sales Reps and order-entry tasks.
