Job summary

Quanex in New Haven, CT is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role processes architectural product inquiries and orders from customers and Sales Reps, providing detailed information on orders and helping move quotes to orders.

You will quote prices, coordinate with engineering and other departments, take and edit orders, and support customers from initial inquiry through order entry. The position offers bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two years of Inside Sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical information.

Responsibilities

• Answer quotations for architectural products by phone or email with detailed technical information.
• Establish pricing and other details from manuals or by coordinating with other departments.
• Enter quotation data into the system and send to customers.
• Interface with architects or specifying engineers to match products to specs.
• Take and edit orders for architectural products and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with CSR-Order Entry for order processing and status updates.
