Job summary
ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions seeks an Architectural Sales Representative in the United States to advise on door openings and specifications, partnering with top architectural firms using Openings Studio BIM. You will build key relationships and drive project specifications while educating clients on our products and design services.
The role emphasizes relationship development, specification leadership, and collaboration with a dynamic sales team.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent; preferred architectural/design/engineering background.
- At least 3 years in architectural representation, specification writing, or design-build.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools for reporting.
- Experience with BIM/Openings Studio is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
- Identify opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
- Provide timely product information for project specifications.
- Deliver continuing education programs on products and services.
- Assist with product substitutions and approval procedures during bids.
- Utilize Salesforce for CRM, project tracking, and time management.
- Serve as main contact for architect education, specification and support.
- Promote Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals.
