Job summary

Cuhaci Peterson is seeking an Architectural Designer III to lead design and production of construction documents under supervision, coordinating with project team members and disciplines in Orlando. You will drive design from concept through construction documents, ensuring code compliance and high-quality deliverables.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and 8+ years in architecture, with advanced skills in AutoCAD and Revit, and strong verbal/written communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and a minimum of 8+ years of experience in an architectural firm/field.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
• Advanced understanding of architecture, building construction, and building codes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Run projects with minimal oversight.
• Design and produce construction documents and specifications.
• Complete designated scope of work within allotted time budget.
• Delegate, review, manage and accept responsibility for work of Architectural Technicians, College Interns and Architectural Designer I work on the team.
• Manage with minimal assistance, the permitting process, including response to comments for architecture and consultants.
• Assists in providing Construction Administration Services.
• Resolves technical issues, answers questions.
• Maintain CP standards and QC throughout project.
