Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects is seeking an experienced Architect to lead complex architectural projects from design through construction administration in a dynamic Orlando office. The role requires active licensure and at least ten years in a professional environment, with strong knowledge of construction methods and codes.

You will coordinate with engineering disciplines, supervise staff, manage permits and bids, and ensure quality control across CDs, drawings, and specifications.

Qualifications

• Active architectural license required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in a professional office.
• Strong understanding of building construction methods and major model codes.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and direct coordination with engineering disciplines and systems decisions.
• Produce design drawings, CDs, and specifications for multiple projects.
• Oversee permitting, bidding, and construction administration processes.
• Resolves design issues and answers questions throughout projects.
• Mentor, teach and lead staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Prepare statements of probable cost and assist in proposals.
