Job summary

Cuhaci Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners in Orlando, FL is seeking an Architectural Designer II to design and produce construction documents under supervision. The role involves coordinating documents, meeting codes, and working with project teams to deliver projects on time.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and 5–8 years of experience, with advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred.
• 5–8 years of architectural firm/field experience.
• Advanced knowledge of architecture, building construction and codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run projects with minimal oversight.
• Design and produce construction documents and specifications.
• Complete designated scope of work within allotted time budget.
• Delegate, review, manage and accept responsibility for work of team members.
• Manage permitting process with minimal assistance and respond to comments.
• Assist in providing Construction Administration Services.
• Resolve technical issues and maintain standards and QC.
