The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture, has 5–7 years in construction administration, and is proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools; bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 5–7 years of construction administration experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience reviewing technical submittals, shop drawings, and coordination drawings.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and maintain the architectural design intent throughout construction.
• Interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications to resolve questions.
• Perform detailed architectural review of shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and substitutions.
• Identify and address discrepancies and coordination issues between documents.
• Coordinate with project architects and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct regular site visits to review progress and confirm conformance with documents.
• Document site observations and non-conforming work and propose corrective action.
• Evaluate change orders, ASIs, and clarifications related to design issues.
• Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field directives.
• Review contractor pay applications and verify progress relative to work completed.
• Assist with punch lists, substantial completion reviews, and project closeout.
• Serve as the primary architectural liaison among design team, contractor, consultants, and client.
