REQUIREMENTS
Position Overview

We’re looking for a highly experienced Project Architect to join our integrated team of architects and designers. This is a key position for an architect who excels at managing high‑profile projects, building strong client relationships, and fostering a culture of design excellence. As a participant in our uniquely collaborative design process, you will work hand‑in‑hand with our founder and principal architect as well as colleagues across disciplines on a wide variety of luxury single‑family residential projects.

The ideal candidate will combine technical rigor, team leadership, and excellent client communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a strategic role within a growing firm and contribute meaningfully to its future direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of custom single‑family residential design projects from inception through construction documents ensuring the quality and intent of the design.
  • Coordinate the design team to produce detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D models.
  • Specify the materials, finishes, and products for construction based on durability, budget, and design intent.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards.
  • Work with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers to integrate all systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design updates, and managing expectations.
  • Track project milestones, monitor architectural fees, and ensure the design aligns with established cost parameters.
  • Check and approve contractor shop drawings, material samples, and product data.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors and modify plans when unforeseen field conditions arise.
  • Conduct regular visits to the construction site to ensure quality control and that the build matches the design specifications.
  • Coach junior staff on architectural software, drafting practices, and professional development.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s, or Master’s, degree in architecture required; architectural license required
  • 7+ years of professional experience working on custom luxury residential design projects
Skill Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Enthusiastic commitment to our multidisciplinary design process and team environment
  • Deep working knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction processes
  • Project management skills for high‑end custom single‑family residential projects
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish)
Other Requirements
  • You must currently reside in the Miami area or be willing to relocate to the Miami area
  • If you are relocating from outside the United States, you must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States – we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
