Job summary

IPS is seeking an Architect II in Burlington, MA to lead architectural design across all project phases and supervise junior designers. You will work with clients to define scope, develop preliminary designs, and ensure coordination with engineering disciplines.

Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows is essential to deliver compliant, on-schedule designs. The role requires extensive experience in architectural offices, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• 5+ years of architectural office experience or equivalent as a Registered Architect (RA).
• Bachelor's Degree; B.Arch. degree with NAAB Accreditation is required.
• Ability to interpret a building program and generate varied design concepts.
• +4 years of Life Sciences Industry experience required.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and apply architectural techniques and modifications.
• Develop preliminary designs and work in all phases of the architectural process.
• Supervise team members such as Architect I and Senior Architectural Designer.
• Lead design documentation for programming, master planning, schematic, and construction documentation.
• Lead architectural construction administration activities and field support.
• Coordinate architectural design with related engineering disciplines and attend meetings.
• Interact with clients to secure scope and design intent.
• Create renderings and diagrams as assigned.
