Job summary

Emser Tile LLC is seeking a Commercial Territory Sales Manager to drive the commercial business segment with emphasis on Architecture and Design collaborations.

Based in Columbus, OH, you will develop strategic plans, cultivate specifier relationships, deliver CEU trainings, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to stay ahead of design trends while traveling to key accounts.

Qualifications

• Successful track record in an outside sales environment, preferably within the flooring industry.
• Analytical skills to identify client needs and map to product offerings; specification analysis a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and maintain relationships with Emser clients.
• Expertise selling to the Architecture & Design community.
• Strong presentation skills to large audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time and work non-standard hours.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Strategic Sales Plan to build market share with a focus on A&D firms.
• Maintain and grow relationships with top specifiers; call on national firms to drive specs.
• Leverage relationships with Architects and Designers to inform specs during design stage.
• Organize Product Knowledge and CEU trainings with assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with Regional/National teams on A&D strategies and revenue goals.
• Call on key Commercial Developers, Architects and Designers.
• Collaborate with Emser Commercial Contractor reps to maintain A&D specs through bid process.
• Work with Product Development & Marketing to communicate trends and product performance.
• Attend trade events (IIDA, NEWH) to expand client knowledge and relationships.
• Manage assigned budgets to maintain existing business and increase sales.
