Job summary

Emser Tile, a nationwide supplier of floor covering products, seeks a Commercial Territory Sales Manager to develop and drive the commercial business, especially within the Architect and Design community.

You will build strategic plans, cultivate relationships with top A&D firms, and work with regional managers to grow tile and stone specifications nationwide. Travel within the territory is expected as needed to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Successful track record in an outside sales environment, preferably flooring.
• Analytical skills to identify client needs and align to offerings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with Emser clients and partners.
• Expertise selling to Architecture & Design communities.
• Strong presentation skills for large audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Able to analyze market conditions and craft strategic responses.
• Coordinate multiple projects across accounts.
• Good listening, communication, and energy.
• Flexible to maximize opportunities as they arise.
• College degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sales plans to grow market share with A&D firms.
• Maintain and grow relationships with top specifiers in the A&D community.
• Leverage Architect and Designer relationships to influence specifications.
• Organize product knowledge and CEU trainings with accounts.
• Collaborate with managers to develop A&D strategies.
• Call on key commercial developers, architects and designers.
• Collaborate with contractor reps to maintain A&D specs through bids.
• Work with product and marketing to communicate trends and performance.
• Attend industry events to grow knowledge and relationships.
• Manage assigned budgets to grow existing business.
