Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking an Interior Designer II to join the Civic & Justice Practice. You will support project teams through design development, drawing production, and 3D presentation work, focusing on courthouses, civic centers, and public safety buildings.

The role requires strong Revit and presentation skills, collaboration with teams, and delivery of high-quality design documentation across multiple project phases. 5+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited University.
• 5+ years' experience; or equivalent in Interior Design/Architecture.
• Public projects experience with States, Counties, or Cities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys; read and document thoroughly.
• Assist in preparation of drawings for all design phases.
• Update design documents for all levels of designers.
• Develop solutions to technical and design problems per standards.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentation drawings and models.
• Participate in design charrettes and client meetings.
• Support construction processes (site visits, submittals, shop drawings).
• Promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
