Job summary

Clear Blue Insurance Group in Guaynabo, PR, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to oversee the AR cycle, ensure accurate invoicing of MGA taxes and state fees, and coordinate daily cash posting in the accounting system. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, 5+ years in accounting, GAAP knowledge, and insurance accounting experience.

CPA preferred. This is a full-time on-site role requiring strong collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA preferred, with 5+ years of accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge and insurance accounting exposure are a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the accounts receivable cycle.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of MGA taxes and state fees.
• Review and approve reconciliations of MGA receivable and payable accounts.
• Oversee posting of cash transactions and ensure proper cash application.
• Manage collections including follow-ups on past-due accounts.
• Monitor aging, analyze KPIs, and prepare AR performance reports.
• Collaborate with Credit, Underwriting PMs, MGAs, and finance units.
