Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivables Analyst to join our growing team. The role focuses on accurate financial transactions, payment processing, discrepancy resolution, and supporting Account Managers.

You will manage aged receivables, process finance agreements, resolve portal tickets, and collaborate with field offices. A background in insurance accounting and a bachelor’s degree are preferred, with 2+ years in AR or related analysis.

Qualifications

• Insurance accounting experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial analysis role.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Customer Service skills and background.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines; adaptability to changing processes and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Discrepancy resolution to ensure transaction accuracy and collaborate with accounting teams.
• Handle operating and trust account exceptions with proper documentation.
• Identify payments with Account Managers and reconcile daily payments.
• Process finance agreements for funding per procedures.
• Manage portal tickets and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Facilitate interoffice bank transfers with proper documentation.
• Monitor aged receivables and provide team support.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
