Job summary

Kforce is seeking an AR Specialist in Chantilly, VA to manage the full lifecycle of accounts receivable for a government contracting organization, including billing, collections, cash applications and reconciliation.

The role requires government invoicing experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work across Costpoint, Unanet, or Navision, with effective communication to sales and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of prior collections experience (max 5 years)
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office
• Ability to communicate with sales and operations teams
• Ability to work across multiple systems and platforms

Responsibilities

• Billing & invoicing in accordance with government contract terms
• Retrieve, apply and reconcile payments (ACH, wire, lockbox)
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue accounts
• Maintain and update billing rates and project setups in ERP systems
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and government regulations
