Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is hiring an AR Specialist in Escondido, CA to own the full AR cycle, handle invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. The role collaborates with sales, service, and accounting teams, ensuring accurate order processing and customer communications.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in AR, experience with QuickBooks or equivalent ERP, and strong attention to detail. Manufacturing context a plus; full-time, direct-hire opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in accounts receivable or similar role.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or another ERP/accounting system.
• Strong knowledge of AR, invoicing, posting, reconciliations, and collections.
• Experience with purchase orders and customer order documentation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and internet tools.
• Basic understanding of payroll and taxes.
• Ability to handle multi-state sales tax reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AR including POs, invoicing, posting, and reconciliation.
• Process POs from estimate to shipping with accuracy and follow-up.
• Prepare/send invoices, monitor collections, process deposits, maintain records.
• Investigate and resolve payment/invoice discrepancies and account questions.
• Communicate professionally with customers on payment status and balances.
• Support admin, sales, and service teams with documentation and filing.
