Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a detail-oriented AR collections specialist to support the AR Manager and manage a portfolio of accounts. You will contact customers for payments, negotiate arrangements, and process payments while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in credit/collections or billing, with basic accounting knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, and eligibility to obtain Notary upon hire. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in credit and collections or billing with basic accounting/finance knowledge (1–3 years).
• Notary eligibility upon hire is required/eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and collection support for AR Manager and assigned account portfolio.
• Negotiate and secure payment arrangements with delinquent accounts within authority.
• Process payments (checks, ACH, and credit cards) and assist customers with EIPP access.
• Prepare invoices, AIA billings, and maintain distribution records.
• Monitor and improve collection efforts and maintain accurate customer notes in system.
