Job summary

Key Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to support the accounting team in Delano, CA. This temporary role offers potential for temp-to-hire, with a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour depending on experience.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of AR experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with customers regarding invoices, balances, and

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounts receivable experience.
Experience with invoicing, payment posting, reconciliation, and collections.
Confidence communicating with customers about invoices and balances.
Proficiency in Excel and general accounting software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare, process, and issue accurate customer invoices for agricultural products and services.
Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue payments.
Record and apply customer payments, credits, and adjustments accurately.
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Communicate payment status and billing questions professionally with customers.
Utilize portals to manage invoices and payment information.
Collaborate with accounting and operations to ensure billing accuracy.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
Assist with month-end closings and AR reporting.
Support audits and maintain accurate financial documentation.
Provide excellent customer service and build client relationships.
