Health Plus Ortho Management / Advanced Orthopedics Sports Medicine is seeking an AR Billing and Collection Representative I for an on-site role in Freehold, NJ. The position involves analyzing overdue accounts, coordinating with third-party payers, and resolving payment discrepancies to minimize financial risk.

The role requires at least 4 years of medical AR experience, knowledge of healthcare billing, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:00.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in medical accounts receivable office.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance billing required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and update AR accounts to ensure timely resolution per payer guidelines.
• Cross-trained on back office tasks including AR, denial appeals, and Medicare accounts.
• Answer billing questions clearly and politely to patients, insurers, and staff.
• Prepare monthly updates on litigation accounts and closures.
• Document account status and strategy for closing claims.
