Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee the AR department, ensure timely payments, and drive process improvements. The role requires leadership of a small team, collaboration with sales and finance, and a focus on accurate invoicing and aging analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, 5+ years in AR with 2+ years in supervision, and strong proficiency in SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable team.
• Oversee billing and invoicing processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payments and irregularities.
• Develop relationships with customers to facilitate timely collections.
• Prepare and analyze AR aging reports and other financial reports.
• Set objectives for the AR team and track performance metrics.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
• Implement improvements to AR procedures and systems to enhance efficiency.
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation.
