Job summary

Vaco is seeking an experienced Sr. Billing & Collections Specialist to join a growing accounting team in Foster City, CA. This hybrid role supports day-to-day billing and collections, maintains accurate customer accounts, and drives timely resolution of outstanding balances.

NetSuite or SaaS experience is a plus, with compensation up to $50/hr. The position requires 3+ years in billing/AR, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience.
• Strong understanding of billing and collection processes.

• Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting/ERP systems.
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and collections for assigned customer accounts.
• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding past-due balances.
• Apply and reconcile customer payments.
• Maintain accurate billing and collection records.
• Partner with Accounting and internal teams to resolve account issues.
• Assist with month-end activities and AR reconciliations as needed.
