Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years accounts receivable experience with direct team leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record of reducing past-due balances through disciplined collections.
• Direct ownership of AR portfolios of 2,000+ accounts in a high-volume environment.
• ERP experience with NetSuite; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading ERP conversions for AR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce collection policy consistently across accounts, including credit limits, payment terms, and payment plans, with documented exceptions and policy updates.
• Run a structured collections process to reduce past-due balances with defined follow-up and notes on every account.
• Serve as AR liaison for Sales, balancing policy with practical solutions like payment plans and escalation when needed.
• Resolve customer disputes and billing questions quickly by partnering with Sales, CS, and Ops.
• Lead and develop a team of AR Specialists across credit, collections, cash applications, and billing; set KPIs for accuracy and collections.
• Ensure invoices and statements are issued on time; cash applied to correct accounts; reconciliations performed regularly.
• Collaborate to improve order-to-cash handoffs and ensure revenue is recorded in the correct period at month-end.
• Build AR reporting covering aging, trend analysis, DSO, cash forecasting, and at-risk accounts using Excel, SQL, and Crystal Reports.
• Lead the AR workstream of the NetSuite ERP conversion, including process mapping, data cleanup, testing, and training.
• Write and maintain desk procedures to ensure consistent AR process execution.
