Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Accounts Receivable and Billing teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee invoicing, cash applications, and reconciliations, ensuring all receivables are processed accurately and on time.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls for AR and billing functions.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage month‑end close for AR, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Analyze AR and billing data to identify trends, improve DSO, and support business decisions.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, sales, and operations to resolve billing discrepancies and support audits.
- Build and manage customer portals, troubleshoot billing issues, and ensure accurate electronic invoicing.
- Establish and track KPIs, ensuring consistent team performance and compliance with best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 5+ years of full‑cycle AR and billing experience; 2+ years in a leadership role preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and AR best practices.
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
