Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Manager, AR Operations – Funding to lead funding AR activities within the order-to-cash cycle. You will drive accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while managing a team and delivering process improvements.

In this role you will oversee month-end close, analyze KPIs, mentor staff, and partner with business teams to optimize funding operations. A strong GAAP background and 5+ years of leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of business experience with GAAP knowledge.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee order-to-cash activities with funding transactions.
• Lead and manage AR funding team performance and training.
• Ensure adherence to policies; drive process improvements.
• Lead month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze department metrics and improve KPIs.
