Job summary

Patronus AI is seeking a denials and AR follow-up specialist in the United States to handle denial queues, write appeals, apply payer policy and timely filing rules, and decide when to rebill, appeal or write off. You don’t need an AI background for this role.

You will help demonstrate to frontier AI models how this work is done in practice, review task packets and remits, write clear scoring rubrics, and create original scenarios while working independently and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with denial and AR follow-up workflows.
• Ability to interpret payer policies and filing rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Explain how the work is done in your role: the steps, the documents, who decides what, and where things go wrong.
• Review denial queues, appeal letters, ERA/EOB remits, 835/837 files, and payer policy excerpts.
• Write scoring rubrics so two reviewers reach the same verdict.
• Create original tasks from fictional scenarios and document your reasoning.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meet deadlines and respond to reviewer feedback.
