Patronus AI is seeking a denials and AR follow-up specialist in the United States to handle denial queues, write appeals, apply payer policy and timely filing rules, and decide when to rebill, appeal or write off. You don’t need an AI background for this role.

You will help demonstrate to frontier AI models how this work is done in practice, review task packets and remits, write clear scoring rubrics, and create original scenarios while working independently and meeting deadlines.

Pay: $50–$65/hr

Commitment: Flexible, typically 10–20 hours per week

We're looking for denials and AR follow-up specialists who do this work today. In your role you work denial and AR queues, write appeals, apply payer policy and timely filing rules, and decide when to rebill, appeal or write off. You'll help us show frontier AI models how that work is really done, and where they get it wrong. You don't need an AI background.

What you'll do

• Explain how the work is done in your role: the steps, the documents, who decides what, and where things go wrong.
• Review realistic task packets, such as denial queues, appeal letters, ERA and EOB remits, 835 and 837 files, payer policy excerpts and write-off decisions, and flag anything a practitioner would find unrealistic.
• Write scoring rubrics precise enough that two independent reviewers reach the same verdict.
• Create new, original tasks from fictional scenarios, solve them yourself and document your reasoning.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meet agreed deadlines and work in reviewer feedback.
