Job summary

Amperos Health, Inc. is seeking a RCM Specialist with 2–4 years of AR follow-up and denial management experience to join our AI-powered revenue recovery platform.

You will oversee claim collection, perform follow-ups with payors, and handle appeals while ensuring alignment with customer SOPs and product teams. You will also back AI-driven workflows, review AI results, and contribute insights for new features across payor portals, EOB retrieval, and payment posting.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years in RCM AR follow-up and denials.
• Experience with PM systems such as NextGen, ModMed, Athenahealth.
• Strong understanding of AR scenarios and the right actions (status, denials, appeals, follow-up).
• Comfortable speaking with insurance representatives and navigating IVRs.
• Detail-oriented and reliable in documentation and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Collect outstanding customer claims and identify a worklist using Amperos systems.
• Follow up on assigned claims by calling payors and using payor portals.
• File appeals, resubmit claims, and escalate as needed; track activity in systems.
• Serve as backup for AI-driven workflows and ensure continuity when AI is unavailable.
• Review AI results against SOPs and flag errors or missing edge cases.
• Contribute to product development by providing feedback on AI results and workflows.
