Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Collections Representative for its Stuart, FL operations. The role manages a high-volume AR portfolio, conducts outbound calls, analyzes DSO and aging, and aims to maximize daily collections while delivering strong customer service.

You will use Excel, Outlook, and JD Edwards to post payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records. The position is contract-to-hire and onsite, with a clear path to permanent employment and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Understanding of AR processes, DSO, aging and trends.
• Minimum 35 years of collections experience.
• B2B collections experience preferred, with strong collections background.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong written communication for customer correspondence.
• Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AR balances and trends to prioritize collection efforts.
• Follow up on past-due invoices by phone, email, and letters.
• Make high-volume outbound collection calls (approx. 35/day).
• Aim for daily collections target (about $8,500 per day per collector).
• Resolve discrepancies and inquiries with timely communication.
• Maintain accurate collection activity records and reports.
• Post transactions and perform basic reconciliation in AR systems.
