Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to manage collections for a portfolio of 300-350 customers and support the Credit Team with analysis using tools like D&B. This contract role is based in Schiller Park, IL, with a hybrid work setup and a dynamic, growing team of about 12 people.

You will handle disputes, establish payment plans, and collaborate with AR, Billing, and other departments. The role requires 2+ years in collections and a Finance/Accounting degree, with strong

Qualifications

• 2+ years of business experience focused on collections.
• College degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Excellent verbal and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage all collection efforts for trade receivables, including direct communication with customers and field operations.
• Serve as a liaison to resolve receivable matters and disputes.
• Support field offices in customer accounts related activities.
• Recommend payment plans for customers as needed.
• Respond promptly to statement inquiries and other questions on the Accounts Receivable master phone line.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other departments by providing excellent customer service.
• Perform consolidated account summaries, pulling data from various locations for reporting.
• Engage in special projects such as audit support, month-end tasks, and third-party collections.
