Job summary

Raymond West is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist (Collections) to establish professional relationships with customers and facilitate timely resolution of past due balances. The role uses the Billtrust platform to drive collections and maintain accurate receivable records.

Candidates will handle delinquent accounts, coordinate with internal teams, and participate in meetings to report status. A strong understanding of accounts receivable procedures and exceptional communication are

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Maintain effective working relationships across departments.
• Willing to work off-hours and take on more responsibilities as needed.
• Understand accounts receivable processes and reposnsibility.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by telephone or e-mail to determine the reason for past due payment.
• Work from Billtrust platform to reduce past due balances.
• Review Billtrust to ascertain the status of collections and outstanding balances.
• Record information about the financial status of customers and collection efforts.
• Initiate collection actions according to due dates and report any credit risks.
• Notify manager of customer disputes within 24 hours and resolve per internal processes.
• Process credit card transactions and maintain account status.
• Follow the documented Collection Process with minimal supervision.
