Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to support the revenue-to-cash process. You will handle billing, collections, cash application support, and customer account administration for assigned accounts, ensuring timely cash receipts and accurate records.

You will collaborate with AR and Accounting teams, resolve routine issues, and deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, customer account management, or related accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for assigned customer accounts and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor and respond to emails in shared AR inboxes and route requests as needed.
• Assist daily billing activities and ensure accuracy before invoice generation.
• Prepare, distribute and upload invoices via portals and electronic platforms.
• Maintain accurate customer records including billing contacts and remittance information.
• Monitor PO expirations and billing requirements to support invoice processing.
• Manage collections for small- to mid-tier accounts via phone and email.
• Follow up on past-due balances and research disputes or discrepancies.
• Escalate complex issues to AR Operations Specialist/Manager as needed.
• Provide backup for cash application and apply customer payments.
• Assist with aging reports and AR reporting for management.
