Job summary

The Access Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in the United States. You will manage and collect outstanding receivables, maintain accurate ledgers, and work with sales and billing to resolve disputes and accelerate cash flow.

Successful candidates are detail oriented, organized, with 2–4 years in collections, proficiency in Excel, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. The role offers competitive pay and a blended office environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or related roles in a corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of collection practices, credit terms, and the legal considerations of debt recovery.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with collections software or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other financial software.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and collect overdue accounts to reduce aged receivables across a broad portfolio.
• Contact customers by phone, email, and written correspondence to collect payments, resolve disputes, and follow up on payment arrangements.
• Track incoming payments, ensure correct posting, and resolve discrepancies with customers.
• Generate and review aging reports to identify overdue accounts and prioritize collections.
• Address and resolve billing issues in collaboration with sales and billing teams.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of Accounts Receivable aging with General Ledger.
• Prepare weekly and monthly collections status and forecasts for management review.
