Job summary

United Safety and Survivability Corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage billing, credit, and collections, supporting finance activities and process improvements. You will analyze customer creditworthiness, set limits, prepare credit files, process AR transactions, and collaborate with the Controller to optimize cash flow while maintaining accurate records.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of experience, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
2+ years of credit & collections, accounting, and reporting experience.
Strong proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
MRP/ERP system knowledge preferred.
Able to make fast data-driven decisions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

Manage billing, credit, and collections activities.
Prepare and set up new customer lines of credit.
Ensure credit files and key documents are complete (W-9s, credit applications, etc.).
Process AR transactions (billing, cash receipts, ACH, wires).
Monitor collections and improve cash flow.
Coordinate with Controller and Assistant Controller on controls and approvals.
Prepare month-end schedules and AR aging reports.
Identify process improvements and maintain internal controls.
