Peter Millar & G/FORE are seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to join the finance team. The role supports AR functions, resolves delinquencies, and ensures accurate invoicing in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and other internal partners.

The position emphasizes detail-oriented account research, timely collections, and strong Excel/ERP proficiency in a dynamic retail environment based in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years accounts receivable, collections, or related accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; BlueCherry preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments, including virtual cards and corporate account payments.
• Batch and post daily payments in BlueCherry and other systems.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on past due balances.
• Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts to collect.
• Investigate chargebacks, disputes, and reconciliation issues.
• Maintain records of communications, payments, and collections.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to resolve invoicing issues.
• Prepare reports on collections activity, aging trends, and credit risk.
