Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Collections specialist to manage collections, reconcile accounts, and collaborate with Sales and branch teams to resolve customer disputes.

You will execute the collection process, track aging, and drive monthly financial goals. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in commercial collections or AR, an Associate's degree or equivalent, and proficiency with Google Workspace, AS400 and Soft Pak.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in commercial collections or accounts receivable.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Google Workspace is a plus.
• Experience with AS400 and Soft Pak software preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections: execute collection process to meet monthly goals.
• Analyze and reconcile monthly accounts and resolve unapplied cash.
• Collaborate with Sales and branch teams to provide updates and resolve customer disputes.
• Report and maintain records in compliance with policy and regulations.
