Job summary

Driven Brands in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to manage a portfolio of customer accounts and drive timely payments. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve billing issues and reduce aged balances, while ensuring accurate account documentation.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in AR/collections, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing or related financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and perform collection activities to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
• Review aging reports, research account discrepancies, and resolve payment issues including disputes, deductions, credits, and unapplied cash.
• Communicate with customers and internal partners to resolve billing issues and obtain required documentation.
• Monitor account activity through statements, reconciliations, and portals while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Escalate high-risk accounts and support collection recovery efforts, including write-offs and third-party collections.
