Health Plus Ortho Management / Advanced Orthopedics Sports Medicine seeks an AR Billing and Collection Representative I to analyze past due accounts and coordinate with third-party payers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and delays. This on-site role in Freehold, NJ follows a Monday–Friday 8:30–5:00 schedule.

The position covers AR, denial management, and patient billing inquiries, with emphasis on timely resolution, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in medical accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance billing required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and confidentiality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and update AR accounts to ensure timely resolution per payer guidelines.
• Cross-trained in back-office tasks including AR, denial appeals, and Medicare accounts.
• Answer billing questions clearly and professionally; retrieve charts/files as needed.
• Notify and update stakeholders on litigation and outstanding balances.
• Document status and strategy to bring claims to closure.
• Prepare and share logs, reports, and denial trend analyses.
