Job summary

Vaco is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our client’s West Palm Beach team. The role focuses on AR and AP, ensuring accurate financial records and timely invoicing and payments.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on AP/AR experience, proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel, and familiarity with ERP or cloud-based accounting systems. A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience working with ERP or cloud-based accounting systems.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial transactions, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past‑due accounts.
• Record and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer records and account information.
