Job summary

CHR Career Opportunities is seeking a part-time APRN to join the REST Center team in Willimantic, CT. The position involves 4 days per week with 5-hour shifts, focusing on psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis stabilization within a 24/7 community program.

The role requires CT APRN and RN licenses, plus DEA number, and at least 5 years of mental health experience. Expect collaborative, trauma-informed care with extensive benefits and pro-rated compensation for hours worked.

Qualifications

• APRN degree or equivalent required.
• 5 years’ experience in adult or child mental health.
• CT APRN license and RN license; CT CSP license; and DEA number.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes medications under physician supervision according to policy.
• Provides direct treatment services and clinical services including assessments, medication management, and crisis planning.
• Coordinates care with community health organizations and outside services.
