Corewell Health is seeking an apprentice Mammography Technologist at Royal Oak Hospital. As you progress, the role will convert to a Mammography Technologist with day shifts, on-site duty at Royal Oak Birmingham sites. The position requires adherence to ALARA principles and accuracy in imaging.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic mammography under supervision, maintaining quality images, and meeting department policies in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Scope of Work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures perform diagnostic Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required


• Associates degree.


• Graduated from accredited Radiography program required.

Certifications

CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT Upon Hired Required.

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association or Red Cross
