Job summary

Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is seeking a Part-time Mammography Technologist to perform accurate mammography exams under site leadership, using appropriate imaging equipment and adhering to patient-centered care.

The role requires JRCERT-accredited radiography training, ARRT certifications, and BLS, with 1 year of relevant experience preferred. Comprehensive benefits and on-demand pay options available.

Qualifications

• Required associate’s degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience; 1–3 years beyond staff radiographer preferred.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT; Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT; 1 year required.
• CRT-BLS - AHA or ARC; Upon Hire required.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient Mammography exams using approved imaging equipment.
• Demonstrate good clinical skills and provide images for interpretation.

Corewell Health Farmington Hills opened on Jan. 19, 1965 as a 200-bed facility known then as Botsford General Hospital. Today, Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a 305-bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status.

Scope of work

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

• Required associate’s degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience 1-3 Years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level Preferred
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 1 Year required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
