Job summary

Anthropic seeks an Applied AI Research Engineer to discover model capabilities, validate with customers, and equip teams to deliver new features. You’ll work across Sales, Product, and Research to ensure field reality informs product roadmaps and to drive demonstrations, evaluations, and scalable enablement.

You will embed with product teams, own GTM handshakes, and help translate field feedback into practical architectures and demos. A strong customer-facing, technical voice is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a technical role delivering products or services.
• Proven ability to translate complex learnings into materials or tools.
• Experience building with large language models and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Embed with product teams to gain deep domain expertise and field readiness.
• Own the technical GTM handshake for model and product launches.
• Build demos, evals, and prototypes showcasing capabilities and performance.
• Develop enablement materials and training to empower Applied AI teams.
• Engage with strategic customers to solve novel technical challenges.
• Synthesize learnings into actionable insights for Product and Research roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Sales and Applied AI to support high-value accounts.
• Travel occasionally for workshops and research collaborations.
