Job summary

raydar is seeking an AI Field Engineer to partner with enterprise customers on GenAI deployments, from discovery to production. You will drive technical POCs, guide model selection and fine-tuning strategies, and ensure customer success through hands-on implementation in customer environments.

You will collaborate with executives and ML engineers, own pre‑sales activities through POC scoping, and help shape the product roadmap based on customer feedback.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in client-facing AI or ML roles such as solutions architect, forward-deployed engineer, applied AI engineer or sales engineer.
• Hands-on LLM inference and fine-tuning experience with open-model frameworks such as vLLM, SGLang or TensorRT-LLM.
• Production code shipped inside a customer environment, not just advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery calls, scope proofs of concept and run load tests to choose model architecture and deployment configuration.
• Build end-to-end POCs and production integrations inside customer environments, respecting infrastructure and security constraints.
• Guide customers on model selection, fine-tuning strategy and evaluation frameworks.
