Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Research Engineer to explore what our models can do and demonstrate value to customers. You will embed with product teams, test new models, and build demos and evals to inform our roadmap.

You’ll translate field learnings into signals that guide product and research decisions. In collaboration with Sales, Product, and Research, you’ll shape launches, enable field teams, and deliver scalable approaches.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technical roles with customer exposure.
• Proven ability to translate technical learning into enablement materials.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with LLMs.
• Experience designing evaluations, building prototypes, or enabling complex products.

Responsibilities

• Embed with product teams to build deep technical expertise on new products.
• Own the technical GTM handshakes for model launches, testing, and field readiness.
• Build demos, evals, and prototypes illustrating product capabilities.
• Create enablement materials and reference architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Engage with strategic customers to solve novel challenges and capture learnings.
