Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Manager of Commercial Applied AI Architects to drive adoption of frontier AI across mid-market and SMB customers. You will lead a team to build blueprints, demos, tooling, and enablement that scale across the book, while partnering with sales leaders on coverage and strategy.

You will remain hands-on with the team, guiding technical engagements from discovery through deployment and expansion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or similar).
• 3+ years managing pre-sales or technical go-to-market teams.
• Experience leading technical teams in high-velocity sales motion.
• Builder credibility with LLM-powered applications and production-ready prototypes.
• Hands-on familiarity with agentic architectures, LLM evaluation, and developer tooling.
• Systems mindset with ability to build scalable structures as you go.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build trust with technical and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and grow a team of Commercial Applied AI Architects.
• Own hiring and onboarding to scale the team.
• Set goals and conduct performance reviews with direct feedback.
• Define qualification/prioritization framework for Applied AI engagements.
• Work with architects on engagements from discovery to deployment and expansion.
• Build and own technical playbooks for Claude API, Claude Code, and Agent SDK.
• Partner with sales leadership to co-build segment strategy and drive adoption.
• Represent Anthropic technically at customer sites and events.
• Translate field learnings into feedback for Product and Engineering.
