Job summary

Filamatic is seeking an Applications Engineer to bridge engineering, sales, and customer problem solving in our pharmaceutical packaging lines. The role involves shaping proposals, serving as a technical advisor, and driving revenue through turnkey solutions.

You will own pre-sales activities, validate concepts with customers, and collaborate with vendors to deliver integrated systems that meet URS and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in packaging machinery and integrated systems for biotech/pharma/cosmetic industries.
• Experience reviewing URS and developing cost-effective solutions.
• Experience in developing engineered solutions with detailed costing for bids.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into practical machine solutions and high-value proposals.
• Develop conceptual designs and configurations for packaging and automation systems.
• Lead pre-sales efforts with accurate costing and scope definition.
