Job summary

ProMach, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to coordinate between Inside Sales and Engineering and act as a Subject Matter Expert for Matrix solutions. The role involves engaging with distributors and OEMs to ensure specifications, pricing, and delivery meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include preparing preliminary layouts in CAD, reviewing quotes, and supporting technical sales through demos and tradeshow participation. Travel is limited but expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Engineering/Technical field is required or preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Sales experience is a plus for this role.
• Ability to travel on a limited basis must be able to visit customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Inside Sales and Engineering to develop customer solutions.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Matrix solutions.
• Assist Inside Sales with quotes and cost estimates for customer specifications.
• Review RFQ/URS documents with engineering/operations for technical and financial viability.
• Perform speed and film tests for the sales team.
• Demo machinery and coordinate with customers and internal teams for demos and delivery.
• Attend trade shows to provide technical sales support.
• Maintain and update applications databases.
• Collaborate with third-party equipment suppliers to confirm configuration, delivery, and pricing.
